Cookie Policy
Last updated: June 12, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how 15797535 Canada Inc. (d/b/a “fastinvites”, “we”, “us”) uses cookies on fastinvites.com (the “Service”). It supplements our Privacy Policy.
Our approach
fastinvites uses two categories of cookies: strictly necessary cookies required for the Service to function, and optional analytics cookies that help us understand how the Service is used. Strictly necessary cookies do not require consent under PIPEDA, the GDPR (ePrivacy “strictly necessary” exemption), or similar laws. Analytics cookies require your consent, which you can give or withdraw at any time via the cookie banner or by clicking “Manage cookie preferences” below. We do not use advertising or social-media tracking cookies, and we do not share cookie data with advertisers.
What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser so it can recognize your browser on later requests — for example, to keep you logged in or to protect a form submission.
Strictly necessary cookies
These cookies are essential for the Service to function correctly. Because they are necessary to provide a service you have requested, they do not require your consent.
| Cookie | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|
vid | Anonymous visitor identifier. Lets the Service recognize the events and registrations created from your browser (e.g. to show your existing registration, or your join button at start time), and to link them to your account if you sign up. | ~1 year |
csrf | Security token used to protect form submissions against cross-site request forgery (CSRF). | ~1 year |
sid | Session cookie set when you log in; keeps you signed in. Cleared when the session ends or you log out. | Session / until expiry |
All of these cookies are set with the HttpOnly and SameSite=Lax attributes, and with the Secure attribute when the Service is accessed over HTTPS, so they cannot be read by client-side scripts and are not sent on cross-site requests.
Analytics cookies (optional)
With your consent, we use Google Analytics (via Google Tag Manager) and PostHog to understand how people use the Service — which pages are visited, how registrations flow, and where we can improve. These tools are configured to collect only aggregate, anonymized usage data. We do not use them for advertising or profiling. If you have not given consent, or have withdrawn it, these cookies will not be set and the tools will not collect data about your visit.
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|
_ga, _ga_* | Google Analytics | Distinguishes users for aggregate traffic analysis. | 2 years |
_gid | Google Analytics | Session-level traffic analysis. | 24 hours |
_gat | Google Analytics | Rate-limits requests to Google Analytics. | 1 minute |
ph_* | PostHog | Product analytics — tracks feature usage and user flows. | ~1 year |
Analytics cookies are loaded via Google Tag Manager, which is configured to check your consent before activating any analytics tag. If you withdraw consent, the cookies listed above will be deleted automatically.
Managing cookies
You can update your analytics preferences at any time using the button below, or by clicking “Manage cookie preferences” wherever you see it on the site.
Blocking or deleting strictly necessary cookies through your browser settings will break core functionality — you will not be able to log in, and forms may not submit. You can delete any cookie at any time via your browser settings.
Changes
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date reflects the latest version.
